Ant-o, my dear Ant-o, wow.

Much to say - where to begin! Well, for one, you’re the reason I, too, have become so heavily involved, some would say ‘addicted’ to the BnA community! Man. If it wasn’t you editing all my rants and forming the v. cool, irreplaceable friendship we now share, man… oh man… okay, the rest will have to be said in a more personal forum.

But, on the public front, thank you [from everyone I'm sure] for your input, enthusiasm, thoroughly enoyed all your board treading, blogging, general mischief, and all the best for your ‘new journey’… Man.

I shall be talkin’ to ya soon I suspect!

You’ve been like a long distance friend these past two years when I was traveling and trying to get my stories in. I always knew you were there to support me and gently “nudge” me to keep writing….I appreciate all you’ve done and all your patience…

and i hate that i didn’t get the chance to meet you!

maybe someday….just remember, you ever get to greece and there’s a place for you to crash…or whereever else i may land.

Needless to say buddy I wish you the best in everything you do. I would of prefered of course that you stayed but understand you have new things going on.

Like the above posters I was very surprised. Your work and influence will stay with the site for a long time.

Thanx guys. Sorry for the shock, but thank you for so much. I’ll answer Ken’s question first, so you know what’s shakin’ with the wee Ant.

I’ve been taking a few days to relax, read, ponder, talk with friends and in general see where I head next. My dream has always been to be my own writer, so I’m starting to work on that. My main work on that will come next year, though.

Now that Claudia (PhotoChick) is underway, and since I suddenly have a bit of free time on my hands, I’ve decided to travel with her in India (look out, dusty!). This, I’m sure, is a massive shock.

I’ll be spending the next couple of months in Eugene, temping and saving up a bit of cash to make that happen. In 2004, and post-Asia, I’ll probably head up to Portland, and from there, well, I’ll keep you posted…

Gingi - we’ll be talking soon, m’dear. I’ve been up much, and am only just getting caught up on some emails! Meeting you, and becoming such good friends has been one of the highlights for me. A femme, Aussie version of Ant - it baffles (and perhaps slightly terrifies?) the mind.

Ria - I’m sorry I missed you too, but we will meet up, writer to writer, friend to friend. Watching your t-log develop has been a joy, and every submission has been something new and good. Keep at it.

Aoife - Indeed I will. Sorry I’ll miss you in Lausanne (but I still may try to get some of those envelopes to you!), but soon enough. Soon enough
Nick - I’m gonna miss you, mate. Granted we’ve been apart for a while, but our chats and commonality, I hope, won’t fade. One way or another, I’ll still be heading to Bali at some point or another, so we can finally clink a few Bintangs.

CB - it defo wasn’t easy, but I knew it was the right thing to do. We’ll see what happens - though you and I should defo catch up whenever next I head to Seattle. Besides, I need to meet the guy

I was in total shock when I first saw this, but just like on BnA boards it’s your decision to be made. I wish you best where ever you are and where every you’ll be, and I hope you have blast where ever you go….
