Off to Delhi
I know I have been posting on ThaiBlog the past few weeks, but I reckon it wouldn’t be appropriate to post to it in India - so I’ll finish off the rest of my around the world trip here.
Why am I going to India?
Well, BootsnAll has hired some folks in India todo some behind the scenes work. Yes - we are a big bad company (jobs are leaving the US) and hiring some folks in India todo some things for us….just like Nike and many others. Really - it just makes economic sense to do this.
So, I figured I’d share some of the things that go one behind the scences as we set this up. Actually - it is already set-up and I did not have to come to India, I just wanted to and as I have said before, nothing beats a face to face chat with people.
Let me know folks if you think this is boring…or if you want to hear more about this. Also, if your company is looking todo some outsourcing, let me know and I’ll put you in touch with some reliable folks.

I want to hear more. Especially about what you’re eating. And as for the slave labor (jk) I think that meeting you is important. Nothing beats personal contact and the kind of positive work attitude it can bring. Also, it’s going to be great for them to put your face to your voice. I’m confident that the positive BootsnAll vibe will be contagious. This will be a great week.
Why Delhi. Bangalore is the “silicon valley of India”, software, hard ware and shall i say backware it is all here… and you could have stayed with me and had a blast as well. I know that this is a short trip to delhi, but take care and dont get tooo stressed out. Call me if you can on my cell phone.
Dusty
Dusty - please e-mail me your cell phone number if you don’t mind - I agree - I would love to come to Bangalore - maybe next time…pictures and commentary coming soon.
Keep it coming. Information is good especially when I learn more about our world, how it changes. I didn’t realize Bangalore is “the silicon valley of India.”
yea, I think it is pretty boring. What are you doing afterwards?
Nitemonkey,
Since you are the only one that thinks that this is boring (and spoken up) I will keep going. Thanks for your input though.
Afterwards, I go back to the hotel and to bed for the day - and then wake up around 4 or 5 pm and get ready for another night of work. Yes - I can see how it might be a bit boring.
Afer India, I am lucky to be going to South Africa - maybe that will interest you more. OR check out the rest of BootsnAll for folks doing interesting things.

BootBlog is the company blog of the BootsnAll Travel Network, a company that has been connecting travellers since 1998. Our goal is to inspire, educate and cultivate an organic community of independent travellers. But what does that mean? Well, we love to travel and we love to connect other travellers who have the desire to get out and see this great world of ours. BootBlog will showcase what is going on around the office, around the company and within our community of travellers.Top Categories
