Middle of the Night: BNA HQ

By Sean | Permalink

I went to bed at 9:30 p.m. and woke up like it was the middle of the day at 11:30 pm and knew that I could not sleep. So I am in the office clearing out e-mail and trying to keep my inbox up to date. Tons of spam this past week from that new worm…oh well.

One of the cool things about technology…it Voice Over IP. I just got off the phone with Chris is Oz. It is his Friday night and he is calling it a day, about to go out. Funny to think that 1 week ago today I was with him “about to go out”….but jump on a hunk of metal and in a few hours you can go halfway around the world. It still amazes me.

Tell all about yout VOIP. I didn’t know it was available outside fairly expensive commercial installations.

You don’t have to be jet-lagged to do that 9:30 - 11:30 thing. Since I’ve been chillin’ (i.e., out of a job) I find myself going to bed at 7:30p, then getting up at 11:30p, then going BACK to bed at 2a then back up at 7-8a. Crazy.

Why don’t u try Kramer’s 20 minutes of sleep every 3 hours. I’ve heard it’s great!

Yes, Sean, it is quite amazing to think we can be anywhere in the world in a matter of hours.

I wonder, though, (besides jetlag and illness) how this all plays out on the psyche - both positive and not so positive. Just a question.
