Always on the Move…

Last week I was telling my sister about my next trip and discussing all these places I want to go. I was excited, going on, yadda yadda yadda when she wailed, “Why can’t you just stay in one place? Why do you always have to be going somewhere? Why can’t you be like me and be happy to stay at home?” Although travelers often talk about people not understanding them, I’ve never had anyone actually ever challenge me on it. Flustered, all I came up with was, “I dunno…it’s fun, I like it?” Thankfully, our brother seems to to be more like me than her, and was telling me about his upcoming trip with school that includes “Cool places like Venice and Praaayguh” I told him I think he means Prague….

Hopefully (crosses fingers) Central and Eastern Europe…Start in Moscow maybe and work my way from there down Estonia, Latvia, Lituania, Belarus, Poland, Ukraine, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Greece, Albania, Macedonia, Serbia, Bosnia, Croatia and Slovenia. Or something like that. Definitely somewhere around that region. :P

Late 2005! Wow Court, you plan ahead! I am soon to be leaving the USA and heading to New Zealand. I may visit my brother who is going to be in Hong Kong for 3 months. He lives in Dubai and I was looking forward to going back there for a few weeks but oh well…

What is BootBlog?

BootBlog is the company blog of the BootsnAll Travel Network, a company that has been connecting travellers since 1998. Our goal is to inspire, educate and cultivate an organic community of independent travellers. But what does that mean? Well, we love to travel and we love to connect other travellers who have the desire to get out and see this great world of ours. BootBlog will showcase what is going on around the office, around the company and within our community of travellers.
