A Traveler Returns Home
Daniel Wallace has recently returned to London after 14 months on the road. He’s leaving again shortly to live and work in Australia, but his latest posts on his travelblog have been looking at life in London with a foreigner’s eyes:
I feel much freer of needs to consume things, much more distant from advertising, and I would hate to lose that empowerment. I still feel strongly that taking time for one’s life is a better route to happiness than spending money on possessions. My own experience and impression from listening to others is that, despite what magazines and television tell you, one ends up with only cracks of life to slip inbetween the debts of time and money to pay for all those things alleged to bring happiness.

What is BootBlog?
BootBlog is the company blog of the BootsnAll Travel Network, a company that has been connecting travellers since 1998. Our goal is to inspire, educate and cultivate an organic community of independent travellers. But what does that mean? Well, we love to travel and we love to connect other travellers who have the desire to get out and see this great world of ours. BootBlog will showcase what is going on around the office, around the company and within our community of travellers.Top Categories
