New Year Resolutions - A Little Late
I have a few resolutions for this year - most interesting (and the most physically challenging) is my quest to do the Pacific Crest Half-Ironman at the end of June. I’ve never been to central Oregon, and now seems as good of a time as any to start training, seeing as how I live with an Ironwoman finisher and am surrounded by competitive athletes. It’s a lot easier to eat healthy, train and go to bed early when everyone else around you does too! I “offically” started training on Sunday, as in I’m-doing-this-workout-over-another-one-because-I-have-this-crazy-idea-that-I-want-to-do-a-half-ironman. T-6 months and already I’m freaking myself out
Hopefully if I just take this one week at a time, I’ll be able to enjoy it and do well too!

Take one day at a time, Court, and you’ll do it. Small segments are really manageable.
Stay with it. Anything hard and demanding brings tremendous inner fulfillment.
All the best. Keep us posted.
