Charles Beauzay

Summer usually sees an up-tick in the amount of people stopping by the BootsnAll office. Portland has been experiencing an early summer this month with temps in the high 60’s and sunny, dry days. But as it so happened, the one day in March where it was drab, grey and rainy was the day Charles Beauzay dropped by. Charles is from Minnesota and breaks up his working life with regular fishing and hunting trips in Alaska and Minnesota. He told us the last time in Alaska he and his buddies shipped home about 400 pounds of fish.

Charles recently returned from a month-long trip to New Zealand. He blogged about his trip on his BnA travel blog, Quest For Beer - New Zealand. He’s just added some great photos too. He thought NZ was fantastic - he and his friends didn’t really make any plans before they left, just caught buses where they wanted to go and rented a car for parts of it too. It certainly looked like his boots had seen plenty of action.

He couldn’t stay long today as he’s on his way to Jackson Hole, Wyoming for a St Paddy’s party. It’s a long drive, but a pretty one by all accounts. It was great to meet Charles and even though he’s already published several articles on BootsnAll, I’m sure Donovan will be hitting him up for more about New Zealand very soon.

PS - sorry about the quality of the pix, I only had my phone handy.
