Arrived in Delhi, India

Pops and I arrived in Delhi, India via Hong Kong at around 2 a.n. sunday morning. It was super convienent to meet him in Hong Kong and fly in together.

Who is Pops and why is he is India with me?

Not sure I ever formally introduced him - but Pops - or my Dad, David Keener has been working for BootsnAll for about 3 years now. Back in 2003, just when Chris left to work in Australia for a year, Nick was newly moved to Bali, and Ant left to travel…I was left holding the boat in Portland. Pops had always consulting with us and suggested sustainable models for BootsnAll so we wouldn’t be paper-boys forever. So he started working for us, answering phones, accounting, and other stuff that needed doing so I could focus more on development.

So today, if you call our office, most times you’ll reach Dave. He is listed as the guy to call on our Eurail, Around the World Tickets and Travel Insurance sections. He also works closely with our International Airfare agents, based in India. So having him come to work with them is gonna be a great thing to make the product and service even better.

I am here to work with Dave (Dave will be in the working through the middle of the night Delhi time) - and I will be working with one of our colleagues, Suchi during the day. Maybe you have seen her comments here and there on the blogs - testing etc. She does a lot of our development the past 1.25 years and I will work with her this week. Very exciting top meet her as Dave and I just got back from having dinner with Suchi and family.
