Tri It!
By Court | Permalink |This really has nothing to do with what’s going on in the office, but some of you may recall that a few months ago I posted about Pacific Crest Half-Ironman in June. In order to prepare, I have been training a whole bunch and this weekend did my first triathlon. It was a 500 yard swim, 12 mile bike (20 k) and 3.1 mile run (5k). It went really well and I’m psyched to do a longer one in May, also to prepare. The picture below is of me after finishing the bike, getting ready for the run.

All the best Court. Keep up the efforts,we know you can do it!
What time did you do?
Way to go, Court! We’re with you!
My time was a not-so-fabulous 1:16, but still nothing too shabby either. I placed 36 out of 134. For my first tri, I’ll take it.

Congrats Court. I have been trying to get the courage to do a sprint distance triathlon for two years now…hopefully this year will be my year. Good luck on the next one. I heard that once you complete one it becomes an addiction.
