This year, we have put together a Hood to Coast relay team. Our team is composed of 6 guys and 6 girls. It is a 197 mile relay with each participant doing three legs that range from 4 to 7 miles over about 24 hours.

We currently have 6 guys and 5 girls, so we decided to open up the opportunity to any BootsnAll members to join our team. So if you fill the following requirements, let me know.

- You are a female
- You can be in Portland, Oregon from August 25th through August 28th (Rave is 26th and 27th)
- You can run sub 9 minute miles comfortably
- You like to have fun and workout - you don’t dread it
- You have $100 dollars to commit to our “committment fee” to help offset the cost (everyone on the team is doing it)

E-mail sean at bootsnall dot com if you are interested. It will be a ton of fun!

I’m in but I can’t “run sub 9 minute miles comfortably.” Is that a problem?!

Sounds like fun…I think I fit your criteria…my average pace for the Boston Marathon in April was 9 minutes. Shorter distances at sub-9 would be no problem. I would just need a find a decent flight from Phoenix. Let me know.

I also fit your qualifications. If Karen can’t do it, I probabaly can. I am from the other end of the country ( S. FL), but I am up for a trip to Portland.

I really, really want to get on a team. I can easily run sub-9 and am training for the marathon so have the endurance. Please, please email me if you still have space on the team.

Thanks so much!!

Hi,

I am from Portland and ran Hood to Coast last year. I run an average of 8 minute miles. I am female and looking to run on a team. I have a friend who is male and is looking to run too. He runs sub-7 minute miles. If you have room on your team, please contact me.
Thanks!

Two of us are lookiing to run in the Hood to Coast. 9 minute miles we would find challenging. I do have two 15 passenger vans.
