Travel Articles Worth Reading

By Court | Permalink | 1 comment | August 19th, 2005 | Trackback

My catch-all google alerts came up with some good articles this week. Check out: Getting prepared for travel. Although it focuses mostly on gappers, the site has lots of good info regarding road decisions in general. Stepping all over the world discusses RTW travel and how to save. Travelers Urged to Take Disease Precautions is another article with lots of tidbit info to take to heart: “There has been a huge movement to unique and unusual destinations,” said Kathryn W. Sudeikis (search), president of the ASTA and vice president of corporate relations for “All About Travel” in Mission, Kansas. Right now, the hottest spots on the globe are the farthest flung. “It’s all about experiential travel,” she said.

These articles are worth reading especially for me who in 6 weeks will be hitting Mexico. I had 2 jabs on Friday, on of which nearly paralised my arm later that night. Ouch. Now thinking about whether paying £240 for the other recommended shots are worth taking. Decisons, decisons. Is rabies widespread in Mex?
