Court and her Stitches

It lacks a good title but got your attention, right? I’ve been meaning to blog about my Labor Day incident for awhile, but I finally got around to putting up the last pictures.

After doing some wine tasting, I managed to smack my head when jumping into a school bus. This resulted in blood, a slightly panicked Courtney and a trip to the ER. At the ER, the doctors examined my head and confirmed that yes, I did indeed need stitches. They cleaned the wound and did a pretty nice job in sewing me back up. Ten days later, we hosted a BBQ after a bike race back at my house. A friend, Kurt has medic training (and the appropriate scissors) so before we all starting eating (and drinking) he had the honor of taking em out. He ended up doing a great job and, thankfully, didn’t cut off clumps of hair in the process.
