Tanzania: Climb Kilimanjaro, Camping Safari
By Donovan | Permalink |This is one of the BootsnAll Travel Network’s small group adventures planned for 2007. If you want to meet other cool adventure travelers, get to explore some of the best of Africa - while climbing Kilimanjaro, and going on a wildlife safari - we want you on this trip!
Tanzania Trip Overview:
This is a classic seven-day climb up Africa’s highest mountain, Mt. Kilimanjaro, organized by Africa expert Donovan Pacholl, who used to live on Mount Kilimanjaro and has planned hundreds of expeditions around Tanzania. This climb will follow the Machame route, with time for acclimatization, and a slow gradual ascent. Afterwards, we will have a mind-blowing safari adventure into the Great Rift Valley, home to the Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire National Park. This will be a true wildlife safari - looking for lions, elephants, giraffes, wart hogs, hippos, dik dik - with expert safari guides in Land Rovers.
You can choose to just go on safari or just climb Kilimanjaro. It’s up to you!

This is my first time on the site. Do the rates for adventure travel include airfare?
How do you coordinate travel for folks from different cities of origin?
Im interested and just want to know more about the logistics.
