Back in the USSR
I mean “Back in the U.S.S of A”…
Just got back from my 8 week trip to the southern hemisphere 2 hours ago and of course I am jet lagged to shit being just past midnight. Beastie Boy Mix CD on and ready to hit it hard here in PDX for a few months.
On the flight from SFO to PDX, I think I saw Matt Haughey on the flight…I was too tired and smelly having been on planes for 24 hours to say hi and introduce myself. Next time I see him around I will.
If you are waiting to here back from me, I will try my best to get back to everyone withing the next 48 hours. Dave has reams of messages for me.
Peace and great to be back in this rainy shitty weather!

Don’t forget the second line of the song…
Glad your last flight on China Airlines was a good one.
Don’t worry its raining pretty good here in Kuta.
Back in the U.S.S.R.
I mean, back in the U.S.A. Got back about 56 hours ago and immediately got sick. The plane from Taipai to SF was full with all folks sneezing and coughing. I was too by the time I landed in Portland.
It is fantastic to see friends and family after being away for a while…anyone else share those feelings?

Hi,
You must have been traveling for quite a while…I also experienced the you know what after getting back to Salem, Oregon Feb. 4 from a year traveling around the world. How are you experiencing re-entry? Where did you go and for how long?

I am still jet-lagged and not enjoying the rain here in Eugene. The weather is nicer in Bali. What can I say? it is still great to see people though.
I’m still trying to decide if it feels like you just left, or a lifetime since I saw you last. I think I’ll see you again before I make up my mind.
Thanks for staying awake the other night. It was good to see you, even if a little weird to be thinking and talking about things in my life that are so old news. I’ll say hi to SF and the TT folks for ya.
What is BootBlog?
BootBlog is the company blog of the BootsnAll Travel Network, a company that has been connecting travellers since 1998. Our goal is to inspire, educate and cultivate an organic community of independent travellers. But what does that mean? Well, we love to travel and we love to connect other travellers who have the desire to get out and see this great world of ours. BootBlog will showcase what is going on around the office, around the company and within our community of travellers.Top Categories

It's been awhile since we had a BootsnAll member stop by the office. However, thank to a recent post on the message boards wondering where the Boots Crew were these days, we managed to arrange lunch with Bideshi, aka Mike (blue shirt below).
With a couple of stints working in South …
