BnA Thirsty Thursday!
Calling all Portland BNAllers! This Thursday (May 6), the bootie crew will be heading out to PGE Park for Thirsty Thursday fun. I’ve never been, but apparently this means lots of people and lots of cheap beer. We plan on showing up around 6, but the baseball game starts at 7. Tickets are $5. Donovan, Sean and I will grab a few tables up front but let us know if you plan on joining in the fun by calling us at 503-528-1005 or emailing me at court at bootsnall dot com. We hope to see you all there!

Just keep your eyes out for those stray foul balls. Last time I went some guy two tables over got mugged by all and sundry trying to grab one that came his way.
I’ll just duck
yeah watch out, you never know what can happen at a ball park.
I’m sorry I’m missing it. Make sure to drink a few for me. Try to make Sean drink something other than Miller Lite.
Miller Light?!?!
Oh come on Sean!
I’d ATLEAST expect a SN pale ale from you.
Why not drink a 40 of mickeys and wash it down with keystone.
Don’t rip on Mickey’s and Keystone…Keystone was the main drink of parties.
Miller Lite is nice a cold, and low in Calories - so this beer is especially good in the summers. I can drink a few, and not get wasted.
I still prefer the micros, and when you come for your internship Chris, we will focus on Pacific NW beers as part of your coursework. Some NW wines will be thrown in as well.
Regional studies… good idea
don’t worry, he started off the night with a nice solid Mic. ULTRA lite. Donovan and I had a microbrew.
Hey….It’s a timbers game thurs night…join us in 107.
By the way your number was posted on the timbers forum - soccercityusa.com
What’s up y’all-
If you like the Thirsty Thursdays come this Thursday the 13th to watch the Timbers kick some butt- we’ll continue our protracted analysis of beer and its effects on sports fans…
What are the Timbers - is that the Soccer Team?
I might be game for a good soccer match….esp if it’s nice out. I’ll go easy on the beer this time tho, I think….
I just saw that post here:

One of the things that tends to happen when I talk to people about my job at BootsnAll is the, "Oh, you're so lucky!" moment. I do consider myself extremely fortunate to be able to write about travel every day - to do something I love so much that work doesn't feel …

Those of you who read the BootBlog may remember my recent musings on how online friends become real-life friends. What some of you who read that article may not know is that I heard from several BootsnAll members after it was published who said, "Yeah, that's interesting and all, but we've been doing that for years now." Awhile back I posted here about getting into the Boston Globe Travel Show for free. Turns out that was for the trade conference during the day on Friday Feb 19th, not the travel show for regular consumers like you and me that runs from the evening of Friday, February 19 to …

I remember attending baseball games in Eugene with Seam, Chris and Dave. Its a good time and after a cold beer and a hotdog you start getting into the whole ‘take me out to the ballgame’ atmosphere.
