Date: October 13th, 2005 |
Frommer’s mag editors gave BootsnAll some props yesterday, as well as highlighting some blogs within the BootsnAll Travel Network. This part cracked me up though:
Indeed, among other things, it [BootsnAll] contains dozens of blogs, online booking resources, and discussion threads about such topics as malaria medication and the Trans-Siberian Express.
Dozens of blogs? Try over 800, [...]
.travel Domain Name Now Available
Date: October 3rd, 2005 |
Back in April, we heard rumblings about the .travel domain extension. Now it’s out there and available….but only if your company qualifies. Individuals are not eligible to purchase a .travel domain unless “they offer a service, such as advice on how to get there.”
Methinks this could get murky in no time.

My catch-all google alerts came up with some good articles this week. Check out: Getting prepared for travel. From the “I knew it” files comes - Tragedy of the Airport: Why you get stuck for hours at O’Hare. Economists contend that despite what airlines lead you to believe regarding mechanical and weather related delays, the majority of delays are a result of the airlines theselves! The solution for getting back at [...]

What is BootBlog?
BootBlog is the company blog of the BootsnAll Travel Network, a company that has been connecting travellers since 1998. Our goal is to inspire, educate and cultivate an organic community of independent travellers. But what does that mean? Well, we love to travel and we love to connect other travellers who have the desire to get out and see this great world of ours. BootBlog will showcase what is going on around the office, around the company and within our community of travellers.Top Categories

One of the things that tends to happen when I talk to people about my job at BootsnAll is the, "Oh, you're so lucky!" moment. I do consider myself extremely fortunate to be able to write about travel every day - to do something I love so much that work doesn't feel …
