Chris and I spent part of this overcast Saturday in a pub with Hertford locals watching the Arsenal vs. Middlesborough game. Hertford college

The small town of Hertford where I’m staying has a business college for 2 - 3 thousand students, many foreign. I took the opportunity to stroll over there today with a bag of BootsnAll flyers.

Hertford hostel

I set off early today from my brother’s place in fairytale Hertford, just north of London. The train fare today was £13, not exactly something I’d like to pay everyday. This ticket allowed me to take an overground train into town and then ride subway and buses all day.

Today I got to stroll around the village of Hertford which is just north of London. Weather is the same a Oregon but these tiny streets are tripping me out. Small cars, small streets and pubs all over. This town has a history as pointed out on this stone.
