BootsnAll Moons Align…
World Peace is declared and all is right in the world.
Today is one of those days, where everything goes right.
I started the day at the Cadillac Cafe with JenLeo, Eric, and Dillon. We had a bit of a bender back at the BnA Hostel last night and had an excellent breakkie.
We are getting oh so close to launching a new CMS for BnA….Court made good ground on her part today – thanks Court!
Chris flew down to Sydney this morning for his final interview for this L-1A visa to the US. He texted messaged me “Home Run…” and I got it just as I exited the gym.
I moved back into the BnA hostel a few days ago, and from what the painters got done today. All will be normal when Donovan returns to work this Monday.
All in all, a great day… Time to celebrate!

Great days are indeed meant to be celebrated. And many more to come.
I love home runs, especially on the
team I favor.
Can’t wait to see the new CMS, frontend now, Backend in the winter.
Any chance the coding will get released to the rest of us, or it is booty-secret?
It’s not a secret what we are doing for sure – it’s built off of open source and commericial projects.
Um, a “friend” of mine wants to know what a CMS is. I told my “friend” that you would tell them. I would bet that there are others who want to know too.
Me, for one. Might it mean Calling Men Sacred as in server related? What about Can’t Make Sense out of this?
CMS = Content Management System
Sorry for being a geek.
Of course, why didn’t I think of that?
Content Management System:
A system used to manage the content of a Web site. Can allow a content manager or author, who may not know Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), to manage the creation, modification, and removal of content from a Web site without needing the expertise of a Webmaster.
MoveableType is the CMS Bootsall uses for all it’s blogs (including bootblog).
Thanks, Chris Albon.
Glad to hear that everything’s going great. I remember my first CMS experience like it was yesterday. The year was 1972, the war raged on, but….no wait, this is from “Forrest Gump.”
I think its high time you have a new BootsnAll Bash. I recommend Providence, RI as I don’t have a car.
What is BootBlog?
BootBlog is the company blog of the BootsnAll Travel Network, a company that has been connecting travellers since 1998. Our goal is to inspire, educate and cultivate an organic community of independent travellers. But what does that mean? Well, we love to travel and we love to connect other travellers who have the desire to get out and see this great world of ours. BootBlog will showcase what is going on around the office, around the company and within our community of travellers.Top Categories

It's been awhile since we had a BootsnAll member stop by the office. However, thank to a recent post on the message boards wondering where the Boots Crew were these days, we managed to arrange lunch with Bideshi, aka Mike (blue shirt below).
With a couple of stints working in South …

Awhile back I posted here about getting into the Boston Globe Travel Show for free. Turns out that was for the trade conference during the day on Friday Feb 19th, not the travel show for regular consumers like you and me that runs from the evening of Friday, February 19 to …
