Unless I win the Lotto or something, I’m going to have to sit this one out
Pick the right numbers, Free.
Thanks for the early mention! I’ll put it on the calender so we can actually make it this year!
Do you have a location yet?
Yups - we have a location and are booking it today - it is near downtown Portland. More details coming as we have them. Hope you can make it Slip.
ooh, sounds fun!! hope you have a great time… sorry I can’t make the trek cross-country…using all my vacation days for a short trip to Spain in 2 weeks.
Guess I’ll have to catch you guys next time you’re in NYC.
I’m going to try my best to make it out, I’d really like to meet the crew. I’ve never been to Portland, will you guys give tips on budget places to stay? I’m sure I can find some travel info on the BnA site, of course
Tickles - wish u could make it.
Kelly - Portland Hostels are pretty damn good in from what I have seen - I have not stayed in them lately though:

Great minds think alike. I was just today wondering if the date was set!. You can count on me for guacamole & my prize winning salsa!
Freesia- you have to come you’re one of the judges in the guacamole contest! I’ll be looking for cheap airfares for you.
Sean- maybe we can also have a “Travel Tall Tales Contest” and get the biggest Tall tale teller of them all- Phllp Blazdell to come.
Any chance the kid in the Santa Suit will be there? He was great! (Hey LN!)
Woo Hoo!
I volunteer to be one of the judges in the guacamole contest! I have a good appetite, a keen eye and taste sense for good guacamole, plus I’m very impartial!
Okay Mary, you’ll be judge # 2.
Not let’s see if the competition shows up!
socalgirl, you’re bringing your own guacamole right?
anyway i’ll try to make it but no guarantees.. yet.
Of course I will be there.
I make a good guac. Count me in on this contest!

What is BootBlog?
BootBlog is the company blog of the BootsnAll Travel Network, a company that has been connecting travellers since 1998. Our goal is to inspire, educate and cultivate an organic community of independent travellers. But what does that mean? Well, we love to travel and we love to connect other travellers who have the desire to get out and see this great world of ours. BootBlog will showcase what is going on around the office, around the company and within our community of travellers.Top Categories

Those of you who read the BootBlog may remember my recent musings on how online friends become real-life friends. And I’ll also be having an author event for my new book, The Thong Also Rises, the day before at Powell’s main store if anyone is coming in for the whole weekend…
Can’t wait to see old friends, and make some new ones!
