Cringe

I got my first negative feedback today from a BnA member. S/he didn’t agree with some of my opinions. That’s one of the hard things about writing, especially about a topic (travel) that so many people have opinions about. My experiences with a country may be positive and someone else’s may be overwhelming negative. But that’s part of the fun of it, right?

Court, constructive criticism is good, and opinions are merely, well, opinions. So take heart, at least you know somebody’s reading…

Eb is right on. It also means your writing is good enough to provoke a response. So keep it up! I get sometimes negative responses from readers about my column and these responses also get published in the paper i work for. It just means that there is an interested audience out there 8-)!

I agree with both eb and Dusty. If you’re noticed, you will hear varying opinions, and that is just what they are. We’re entitled to think differently. The fact that someone took the time and energy to express their thoughts is a sign they have some passion for what you wrote.

You’ve connected, Court.

What is BootBlog?

BootBlog is the company blog of the BootsnAll Travel Network, a company that has been connecting travellers since 1998. Our goal is to inspire, educate and cultivate an organic community of independent travellers. But what does that mean? Well, we love to travel and we love to connect other travellers who have the desire to get out and see this great world of ours. BootBlog will showcase what is going on around the office, around the company and within our community of travellers.
