Dealing with travel stuff
I’m getting ready to pack my bags and leave Eugene for London on Dec 11th then on to Bali Jan 1st. I’ve spent so much time talking to other travelers about how to prepare I reckon its time for me to get organized. Today I opened an account at the local Washington Mutual ( free checking / saving, Visa debit and ATM card ).
Trying to remember all those other gems of wisdom I passed onto others.

Nick, be careful of WaMu’s hidden charges…they charge $2 (one time/mo fee) when you use a non-WaMu ATM and they kill you on international ATM fees. Whatever the int’l ATM charges WaMu, they in return charge you. It ain’t pretty!
Other than that, have a great move! I guess I’ll miss you by a few days in London. See ya in Bali!
What is BootBlog?
BootBlog is the company blog of the BootsnAll Travel Network, a company that has been connecting travellers since 1998. Our goal is to inspire, educate and cultivate an organic community of independent travellers. But what does that mean? Well, we love to travel and we love to connect other travellers who have the desire to get out and see this great world of ours. BootBlog will showcase what is going on around the office, around the company and within our community of travellers.Top Categories
