So the local Basketball team, the Oregon Ducks made it to the final eight last night, in the NCCA tourney. Oregon 72, Texas 70

It was a great game and it made me realize, that wherever I have lived in my life, I have always rooted for the home team. (But still a die hard Cubs, Bears, and Bulls fan!) When I lived in Australia, I cheered for the Rugby team the Brisbane Broncos as if they were the Chicago Bears. When the Broncos lost in the playoffs, it felt as bad as when the Bears lost. Sports can be so fun sometimes…

If anyone cares…Oregon Ducks Win and we are off to the Blarney Stone for a pre-St. Patty’s Day celebration. Like a bunch of typical Yanks, we head to an Irish pub on St. P’s Day.
