Game 5 Jitters (Result - Cubs Win!)
Miguel is picking me up in about 15 minutes to go watch game 5. I am nervous. Why am I nervous? I am not playing…I just want them to win real bad. If they win, I will be happy, if they lose, I will be real sad.
Either way I still have my health, friends and family.

Cubs won 5-1. Miracles do happen once every 95 years if you are a Cubs fan. Round 2 of the playoffs starts Tuesday. A seven game series of stress for me. My life is built around “When the Cubs are on”.

Cubs to get to the World Series, I thought that only happened in Back To The Future.

Sean, I wish you were here. Everything is jumping. I tried to leave you a message last night about driving by the downtown buildings with the lights on the side of the building turned into the shape of the Cubs logo.
My friends told me that they’ll need me to go down to the bar at 3pm in order to get us a table for tonight’s game. But the dilemna is that they might not make it in when they show up at 7ish.
Wherever we watch it, I can’t wait!
i’m in boston, and we’re all rooting for a Sox-Cubs World Series. but of course, we may be rooting for a different outcome than the one sean wants…
