Hey, does this office smell funny to you?
I’m back to working in the office for the next few weeks (or months, not sure yet) after having worked at home since last September, and it’s a nice change. I mean, I love my cats, but they won’t converse with me. At least my coworkers will. I think.
So far, the biggest adjustment in coming back to working in the office – aside from not being able to wear my pajamas all day long – has been the, erm, smell. Apparently late last week the gang added a bunch of new potted plants to the office – they’re all over the place now, in every room and on some desks. There’s even a plant in the bathroom. They’re quite lovely, and the good news is that we’re all getting lots more oxygen now. We’ll see if that improves our productivity.
The drawback is that the potting soil is rather pungent… I’m sure it’s great for the plants and all, and I’m also sure that over time it’ll be less aromatic. And in the meantime, I just have to keep reminding myself that I didn’t step in anything walking into the office.

What is BootBlog?
BootBlog is the company blog of the BootsnAll Travel Network, a company that has been connecting travellers since 1998. Our goal is to inspire, educate and cultivate an organic community of independent travellers. But what does that mean? Well, we love to travel and we love to connect other travellers who have the desire to get out and see this great world of ours. BootBlog will showcase what is going on around the office, around the company and within our community of travellers.Top Categories
