It’s all Happening on Twitter
If you’re on of those super tech-savvy people, you’ve probably been on Twitter for ages. It’s a fun tool to keep your friends, family, colleagues, and the public at large updated about such important things as the weather, your mood, and your YouTube discoveries. It’s also great to stay on top of the latest travel news!
Of course, we’d love for you to follow @BootsnAll on Twitter — we tweet daily about cool travel-related links, deals, and other fun stuff. But there are lots of other exciting travel-related things going on with your favorite micro-blogging medium.
Matador Pulse gives a run-down of the latest happenings in the travel Twitter-sphere, and reports that even the U.S. State Department has gotten tech-savvy.
Tim over at Written Road shares his recommendations on Twitter resources for travel writers. First on the list should be @WrittenRoad’s own tweets.
Finally, one of the most exciting Twitter trends is live-tweeting from major travel industry events and celebrations. On October 15, Sheila of Family Travel Logue will live-tweet the Conde Nast Traveler 2008 Reader’s Choice Awards from New York City.
If you’re Twittering about travel, or have a favorite travel-related Twitterer you follow, feel free to share in the comments!

What is BootBlog?
BootBlog is the company blog of the BootsnAll Travel Network, a company that has been connecting travellers since 1998. Well, we love to travel and we love to connect other travellers who have the desire to get out and see this great world of ours. BootBlog will showcase what is going on around the office, around the company and within our community of travellers.Top Categories
