What was your first passport stamp?
France.

How did you find BootsnAll, &/or what attracted you to it?
I was looking for info on round-the-world trips. I guess I have an active dream life! What I found on BootsnAll was an amazing group of folks who all love to travel and to talk about it.

What keeps you coming back to BootsnAll?
Hearing about all the interesting places people are heading to and what they are finding there.

Is there a destination have you really liked in spite of it having a poor reputation?
I really liked the Central African Republic, even though my husband got malaria there. He was treated in this very pleasant private hospital which served the best French meals from the restaurant next door. Chris was too sick to eat them, so, I had to help him out. Delicious. Really, if you have to be sick with a terrible fever, it’s warm and pleasant place. Plus you can watch the hippos from a terrace while having a beer.

Do you have any upcoming trips? Where is next on your list?
Road trip across the US.

What is a place you’ve been to that you would go back to tomorrow given the chance?
The airport!

How many miles will you be travelling to be at the BootsnAll Party?
Maybe 700 miles north?

What kind of boots do you have?
Black stilletto.

Any tips you found on BootsnAll or from other members on the forums that helped you on a trip?
I got great advice on what to see and do for places I recently went like the Czech Republic and Israel. In fact, the BootsnAllers were the ones who talked me into checking out Prague. I also like the fact that I can write about places I’ve been and give advice to others. Telling people my opinions is a bad habit I have, and I need an outlet. This is the perfect place for people who love travel.
