LiveNomadic: BootsnAll Intern

by Sean on December 22, 2004    |    9 Comments »

Chris, LiveNomadic and I are sitting around drinking beer, surfing the internet and talking about travel. We just checked out his 1st post of over 2000 posts. Funny stuff.

Chris is LiveNomadic’s given name. He is living in the BootsnAll Hostel for 1 month to intern with us. So far, it has been a pleasure to have him around for burning MP3’s, designing T-Shirts, cleaning up at 8 am after being up till 4 am and being Santa for the party. All good stuff. :-)

Cut this guy some slack, will ya. No one will ever get interns if they get treated like that. Bake him some cookies, open him a beer, and be thankful that you have him! that’s what I would do! (Hey Chris, wanna come intern for me?)

Daisy: We were just relaxing when I wrote this…

Susan: We have given him almost unlimited beer, food, and party opps. We aslo go running together so we don’t turn into fat slobs.

Saw Chris last night. I have to say he looks healthy, well taken care of and happy. That may be because his folks came over, but then again, may be due to the treatment he’s getting from the Boot Boys, whoops I mean Boyz.

I agree with Sue. Treat your interns well and they will treat you well!

Glad I met you Sue.

What is BootBlog?

BootBlog is the company blog of the BootsnAll Travel Network, a company that has been connecting travellers since 1998. Our goal is to inspire, educate and cultivate an organic community of independent travellers. But what does that mean? Well, we love to travel and we love to connect other travellers who have the desire to get out and see this great world of ours. BootBlog will showcase what is going on around the office, around the company and within our community of travellers.

There's gonna be a Bootie wedding!
Those of you who read the BootBlog may remember my recent musings on how online friends become real-life friends. What some of you who read that article may not know is that I heard from several BootsnAll members after it was published who said, "Yeah, that's interesting and all, but we've been doing that for years now." And it's … [Read more]
