We wanted to highlight some of the awesome BootsnAll members that will be in attendance at this year’s BootsnAll 10th Anniversary Party.

What was your first passport stamp?
England: London Gatwick.

How did you find BootsnAll, &/or what attracted you to it?
I read about BootsnAll in the Colorado Springs Gazette about four years ago. I was attracted to BootsnAll because I was planning on starting to travel again after several years of not going anywhere.

What keeps you coming back to BootsnAll?
BootsnAll is a great resource for information and advice. The members are very helpful and knowledgeable.

Is there a destination you have really liked in spite of it having a poor reputation?
I greatly liked Belgrade. I had heard many bad things about it before going but I had an unexpected stopover. I wasn’t originally supposed to even stop there but I ended up staying three days.

Do you have any upcoming trips? Where is next on your list?
I will be Argentina in three weeks.

What is a place you’ve been to that you would go back to tomorrow given the chance?
Istanbul, Turkey.

How many miles will you be travelling to be at the BootsnAll Party?
600 or 700 miles.

Have you been to a BootsnAll party before? If so, what survival tips can you offer to any newbies?
This will be my fourth or fifth holiday party in a row. The biggest survival tip is to be prepared for rain. It likes to rain there, a lot. Have a good time. The party is filled with interesting and friendly people who have amazing stories.
