Lost & Found

Got one of those emails today that raises the eyebrow:

Hello,
I wonder if anyone can help me? I came to stay at the International Inn in Flute Street in Liverpool on Friday the 7th March 03. I seem to have lost a pair of green combat style trousers and wondered if I have left them at the hostel?

My partner and i were greeted by Lyndon (I think that was his name?) who was very helpful and made us feel better after a bad experience with the Jamaican Guest House!!!!! We stayed in dorm 12. I would be very grateful if you could email me back to let me know if you have me Trousers!!!

Tell them ‘Yeah we have them, Lyndon’s hardly stopped wearing them since he found them’.

Dear Mr Chris and other sirs,

I just chanced upon your good website and noticed that you are very good investingators. You are now tracking a green trouser. I am sure you would have found it by now. I am extremely honoured to have chaced upon your site. I believe that you specliase in finding lost boots, and only do occassional business of finding lost green combat style trousers. I have lost very nice, very comfortable brown boot, four years ago. I was hiking up small hill and a bear chased me and pulled my boot. I hopped away on one leg. The bear must have hidden the boot. I want your esteemed agency to find this boot to which I am very attached for great sentimal value. It has been passed down from generation to generation.

Dear Sirs, i shall hope you will get back with your estimate. This will also give your honoured self and other sirs in your skilled team the opportunity of visiting the Sahayadri mountain range in western India. It very beautiful but only risk Bear may also chase you. I bear travel cost but not the risk of bear chasing you.

Profound regards to your honoured self
