Mt. Hood from the BootBus
I had a meeting in Eugene yesterday, which gave me the chance to pick-up the BootBus. It was left in Eugene the past 2.5 months since I was away and a mate of mine could work on it.
It was a beautiful sunny avo on the drive back and I attempted to take a few snaps of Mt. Hood as I drove past. Growing up in Chicago, I never had views like this (Imagine these shots, clear and in focus).

LOL - thank god I don’t do that…but it sure does look like some idiot (me) took those shots.
Cars and a leafless bush - somewhere in all of this is Mt. Hood.
Is this some sort of metaphor you got workin’?
“Can’t see the mountain for the trees.”
“My folks went to Mt. Hood and all they brought me was a picture of traffic.”
“If a picture paints a thousand words, 999 are “huh?”
Do you feel suitably abused, or should I taunt you a second time?
Just taking the piss…
Those shots remind me of the end of the ‘Campus Crawl’ when we drove past Mt.Shasta at sunset. The NW is so pretty and those foggy mornings are great for photos too.
What is BootBlog?
BootBlog is the company blog of the BootsnAll Travel Network, a company that has been connecting travellers since 1998. Our goal is to inspire, educate and cultivate an organic community of independent travellers. But what does that mean? Well, we love to travel and we love to connect other travellers who have the desire to get out and see this great world of ours. BootBlog will showcase what is going on around the office, around the company and within our community of travellers.Top Categories

Those of you who read the BootBlog may remember my recent musings on how online friends become real-life friends. What some of you who read that article may not know is that I heard from several BootsnAll members after it was published who said, "Yeah, that's interesting and all, but we've been doing that for years now." And it's … [Read more]

BootsnAll has always prided itself on being a little bit different. We're still the only travel website out there that manually reads each and every membership application that we get. It makes the membership that little bit more valuable and keeps the majority of spammers away. In order to post comments on BootsnAll travel articles and leave reviews about … [Read more]
