What is BootBlog?
BootBlog is the company blog of the BootsnAll Travel Network, a company that has been connecting travellers since 1998. Our goal is to inspire, educate and cultivate an organic community of independent travellers. But what does that mean? Well, we love to travel and we love to connect other travellers who have the desire to get out and see this great world of ours. BootBlog will showcase what is going on around the office, around the company and within our community of travellers.Top Categories

It is true that throughout islams’s history there have been episodes where the local culture / religion has been swept away in a year or 2 by a violence. THat’s a shame becauce 99.9% of muslims are observant, peaceful people. I remember one time in India at a railway station a group of 4 muslim men offered to watch my backpack while I go get something to eat. I could tell instantly that these guys were totally straight my belonging would be fine. This was a side of islam not often mentioned by the press, a strict code of conduct which is all about self control.
Maybe the ‘pureness’ of islam ( dedication, praying 5 times a day, food / dress laws etc ) make it ideal for the fanatical element to go that one step furthur and see the obliteration of other less observant religions as a good thing.
