On the Road…Bettendorf, Iowa

I visited a new place this weekend! I spent it in Bettendorf, Iowa at The Abbey Hotel where my freshman/sophomore year college roommate and sorority sister Maggie got married. The Abbey stood up to its high AAA rating – the service was wonderful and very professional. A group of Gamma Phis attended the wedding – we went out that night in Rock Island, Illinois and paid amazingly cheap prices that none of us from DC, LA, and Portland ever see at home. Travel tip: If you head to the Quad Cities and want to go out, call the riverboat casinos and they’ll come pick you up. All you have to do is tip!
