Quickie Travel
While Donovan, Sean and Dave have been slaving away, I’ve been taking a few quickie trips, first back to Chicago to visit friends and then to Colorado for a friend’s wedding. It’s been quite awhile since I’ve done weekend adventures (via plane) and I forgot how exhausting they are. In a week and a half, I enjoyed 4 delayed flights (each one at least two hours), 3 layovers, 2 malfunctioning planes (pressure problems and loose screws, respectively), 2 red eye flights, and lots and lots of Tylenol. Quickie travel like this is good for events (i.e. a big concert/party that I went to in Chicago and the wedding in Colorado) but is definitely not my preferred way to travel! I’ll be around for the rest of June, but I’m hoping to head to Vancouver, BC for a few days in July (another short trip, but at least we’re driving!).
