Random Stuff from Sean
As I mentioned early, Alastair has been in Portland the past few days and done some hanging out with us. In fact, tonight he is at a film festival with Donovan.
Here are some photos from his visit.
Miller Lite Beer and La Sirenita Burritos were on the menu for lunch on Tuesday

I am off to the East Coast manana en la manana for a cousin’s wedding. Sunday has me in Chicago for a Cubs game with BootsnAll member and friend Freesia. Right after we are cruising back to her family’s pad for a nite of Italian Food and Soprano’s watching. I will attempt to document the experience.
Sporadic e-mail for the next few days…peace

What is BootBlog?
BootBlog is the company blog of the BootsnAll Travel Network, a company that has been connecting travellers since 1998. Our goal is to inspire, educate and cultivate an organic community of independent travellers. But what does that mean? Well, we love to travel and we love to connect other travellers who have the desire to get out and see this great world of ours. BootBlog will showcase what is going on around the office, around the company and within our community of travellers.Top Categories

Alastair and I went to the Banff film festival trying to find other adrenaline junkies to attend his slide show at PCC Cascade Campus. At the end of the show, he and I went outside and handed out fliers. Most people usually don’t like fliers, and thought we were trying to support some concert. So, in order to get them to take the fliers, I started saying, “this guy is from National Geographic and is riding his bike around the world.” As soon as I said, National Geographic, everyone wanted to take a flier.
We ended up attracting about 100 people to his slideshow, the highest volunteer group in Portland so far.
