I think Ms. Corby is guilty. She reminds me of the women in the documentary on mules in an Ecuadorian prison titled "Pack Strap Swallow"

Corby is very much like those women except that Corby will not admit she got set up.
Most do admit they are set up and resolve to make a better life when they are released.

I feel a strong sense of denial in Corby. And it's probably a good thing, otherwise she may have gotten death.

At the end of the day it doesn't matter if she is guilty or not:

1. The punishment did not fit the crime (compare it to the sentences of the Bali bombers people)
2. The chain of evidence was totally broken
3. The comptence of QANTAS is in question when it went through so many hands BEFORE Bali without any suspicion. (might not be incompetent, just lazy)
4. The security surveillance in both Australian and Indonesian airports is terribly managed or lacking for the whole journey
5. If Schapelle had been lucky enough to be caught in Aus she would have had the case thrown out and walked away with all of the above taken into account.
6. Guilty or not, that prison is an abuser of human rights and nobody should have to be there - the life expectancy of the prison is 10-15 years, so she may get death after all

I will say that the Corbys were so ungrateful to the first defence team - they did save Schapelle's life after all, death was a real possibility. They come across as an awful family, but Schapelle should still come home

I reckon there is a bit of explaining to do *from the Corbys* after the final documentary aired last night (24/6). I had my doubts that any one would be that stupidly brain dead to claim ownership of a boogie board full of pot in a country where death is the punishment for dealing drugs! But, after watching the Corby circus over the last 2 episodes trying to get their stories straight (from Schapelle outright lying over to the drugged out father ranting on about whatever thing popped into his mind to the lying mother slagging off the first defense team & lying about who she knew to the back stabbing sister to the numb sculled younger brother who has problems conveying simple thoughts into words & keeping his hands off drugs & out of prison) despite that there is film & photos showing otherwise, I now have my doubts that she & her lot were not somehow involved -- if not much more. By the way, I reckon Mercedes lives in Bali to get away from that lot she calls her family! An apple does not fall far from the tree and the way the family handled this made the whole matter a lose/lose for all involved. I thought Nine Networks did a decent job of keeping objective with her innocence/guilt and it will be interesting to see if there are any legal reactions from the Corby’s. I would be surprised if they did not respond with a lawsuit. They did ask to see the documentary before it aired and Nine Networks was smart to not return the Corby’s calls. If this McCauley character (who as well was nailed trying to smuggle 4.2 kg’s of pot into Queensland) survives to tell his side of the story, I reckon we may be closer to the truth.

Schappelle is very very very guilty. The family are a bunch of ferals. Also to conceal your theories - my uncle is a muso and himself and his band have been buying their drugs off the Corbys for years. They are lieing through their teeth.

Nicotine and booze are way more hazardous then pot. Even if she is guilty, which i don't think is the case , what wonderous laws 20 years for pot but if you want to force little girls into prostitution well the police will turn a blind eye. Actually that's not true they will demand a cut of the profits then turn a blind eye.

It is more logical for her to be guilty but the punishment does not fit the crime. Kate, your condemnation is rather excessive. She is not Hitler. I am embarrassed that I seriously considered the possibility of her being innocent. It would be very weird.
