Solo Travel - Sneak Preview
I just got back from a Board of Directors meeting for CPY and Nick and Ant are at the U of O doing a presentation on Solo Travel. Ant made up a section on it (previous link) - They will be back soon and Chris and I are hoping it went well.

The solo travel presentation went pretty well. We were at the International Resource Center at UO, but no one was sure how many people to expect. It was a lunchtime chat, a new format/time, plus there was also a peace rally and a fair on study abroad that day. So we wound up with about 8 people coming by, but Nick and I just kind of chatted with them, answered questions and talked about different aspects of traveling in general and solo in specific.
For who was there, I think it was good. They learned something, and hopefully they’ll come and check out the site - I’d like to do it again at some point… and hey, see if we can pack the house!
Ant, good job on the page. I think it’d be great to have Solo Travel Insiders and profiles of solo travelers that you’ve already done interviews with. Or is that already on there and I missed it? It’s late, I have to get my gambling rest.
From those eight can come many, many more!!!
