Things we Do
As some of you may know, every quarter we have a number of interns. This past summer, we decided to try something new and have two writers, in addition to our interns. We tested out the system with Julie Dunn and Cherie Yanek. Julie Dunn had recently graduated from school and was planning a trip around the world. Cherie Yanek was quitting her job and taking a three-and-a-half month tour around Europe.
We thought these women were pretty cool and seemed to have a strong passion for travel, so we were able to provide a couple of Eurail passes in exchange for stories, Eurail tips, hostel reviews and posts on EurailBlog. We were also able to put Cherie up in a hostel in Central London.
Like most trips, they never go quite as planned. Julie had to cut her trip short after her European adventure due to the lack of funds and Cherie endured some issues at Paris France hostels. However, both had adventures of a lifetime. Check out their writings (tags: Cheryl Yanek, Julie Dunn) and shoot them an email. I know they’re both home safe and sound and already looking forward to their next adventure!
If you’re planning on going on a trip, stay tuned for some information on how we may be able to help you when you’re on the road. We can’t pay for you to travel, but we might be able to give you a couple of breaks on things you were planning to do anyway. If you’re not planning a trip, well, then, this might give you just a little more incentive!

What is BootBlog?
BootBlog is the company blog of the BootsnAll Travel Network, a company that has been connecting travellers since 1998. Our goal is to inspire, educate and cultivate an organic community of independent travellers. But what does that mean? Well, we love to travel and we love to connect other travellers who have the desire to get out and see this great world of ours. BootBlog will showcase what is going on around the office, around the company and within our community of travellers.Top Categories

It's been awhile since we had a BootsnAll member stop by the office. However, thank to a recent post on the message boards wondering where the Boots Crew were these days, we managed to arrange lunch with Bideshi, aka Mike (blue shirt below).
