Tin Shed Withdrawals

While you were sleeping Sean and I were having the worst eggs known to civilization. As you know, breakfast is our meal of choice. Whether it’s at the Glenwood in Eugene, or the Tin Shed in Portland, or any yet-to-be-tried diner of the day. But who would of thought that we’d be having our once weekly get together at Chicago’s O’Hare airport. At 5:30a.m.

I had a 4:30-7:00a.m. layover on my way to Montreal, and Sean came an hour early to meet up before his flight back to Portland.

We mistakenly passed up Cinnabon for a full meal at Chili’s, but the booth was worth it.

Sean updated me on his vacation, and I gave him the latest on the Sand marketing frontline. We even spent a moment at Waterstone bookstore to turn the book face out.

It was great to do our thing — get pumped on current projects, and dream a bit about the promise of near and distant possibilities.

Though it’s safe to say, we both still need a Tin Shed fix.

Proof that this early morning meetup really happened? It’s all in the pics.

Hi Jen & Sean:

Hey if you’re truly breakfast people and ever in the area, not too far from the Ontario Airport (20 mins) is a great place for breakfast called BC Cafe. The servings are big and the food & service is great. 10fwy @ the Indian Hill offramp in Montclair.

Cheers.

Nope on the Burger and nope on the hat…we had re-constituted eggs (horrible)

Not sure what you mean by “free entry to Q-Bar” Nick – but it is either a compliment or a piss take. Thank-you either way…I surely deserve it.

I’m sure Nick will enjoy taking you to the Q-Bar in Seminyak, Sean. It always seems very popular with the blokes.

What is BootBlog?

BootBlog is the company blog of the BootsnAll Travel Network, a company that has been connecting travellers since 1998. Our goal is to inspire, educate and cultivate an organic community of independent travellers. But what does that mean? Well, we love to travel and we love to connect other travellers who have the desire to get out and see this great world of ours. BootBlog will showcase what is going on around the office, around the company and within our community of travellers.
