Travelling and New/Fresh Perspectives
Being a bit jet-lagged - I came down into my office around 4 am this morning and went for a run. After finishing the run, which I have done maybe 100 times or so, everything seemed a bit different. The Starbucks and Destinos. The smell of the air and the pace of life among other things. I forgot that travel of course helps open your eyes to other places and thing, but it definately helps give oneself a fresh perspective on familiar things. Not sure how long this fresh perspective will last.

Know the feeling. One fresh perspective I got was about the air. Compared to Asia the air in Porltand is very clean. The space too, wide road and sidewalks and not many people.
Can’t wait for another one of those 3 inch thick pork chops at Acadia. Think I’ll take one back for my Muslim relatives to chew on.
