Twas the Nite Befo’ the Celebration Parade
We have helium, we have barbecue;
We have soapy water, we have homebrew.
With stars and loud notes,
We prepare our float
For the Eugene Celebration Parade.
Awwwww, yeh. That smell in the air ain’t patchouli, but passing 12th Ave the sound you’d hear is Pearl Jam. The sun is slipping down into the first night of the Eugene Celebration, and as the van dries we prepare to go, as they say, Northwest of Normal. Here it is in photos…
