I’ll be there. Looking forward to it.
Twenty-Third Avenue Bookstore is in a cool area. Leave time to look around.
i have a meeting, but i’ll be there afterwards to gush over the editor and buy her a drink
Much success to Jen Leo on her new book.
I’ll be there in spirit.
Cheers
Thanks guys! Two people? we can do better than just Sean and Mary. Albon, I’m happy abou the drinking, but a little nervous about “etc.”
Here’s the info about the book and my schedule that I am sending out…If you can’t meet me in PDX, try somewhere else. Sean gave the link to the events list.
Jen Leo is swooping through towns up and down the West Coast and throughout the Midwest to promote her new book, WHOSE PANTIES ARE THESE? MORE MISADVENTURES FROM FUNNY WOMEN ON THE ROAD. Last year’s tour in the Bramobile for the bestselling SAND IN MY BRA was a huge success and this year we’re planning on even more fun and bigger sales. Grab a friend and come on out to
hear some hilarious tales of travel gone awry!
Presenting every known type of travel blunder, botch, stumble, and bumble, these rollicking stories come from all corners of the globe and are told from an entirely female point of view. Laugh, cry, and commiserate with these women through their memorable
mishaps such as:
* Gorge on chicken in Lebanon to increase breast size
* Battle hemorrhoids on a honeymoon in Holland
* Discover the sex appeal of a big butt in Senegal
* Escape to New York for the wax job of your life
* Take a Montana Cowboy to a Viennese ball
* Ditch your boss for Mr. Right Now in Miami
If you can’t make an event, please pass this to your friends and join her on http://WWW.WHOSEPANTIES.COM as she blogs about her daily antics.
Dave is attending also.
When you’re on the road, panties are a useless pain in the ass, literally and figuratively. Nonetheless, I wish I had known about this sooner! The book looks hilarious. I’m new to boots (as of yesterday) but am intrigued and have enjoyed procrasinating at work today reading all of your (mis)adventures. I’m in Portland too, and would like to get together soon. Will be departing for my own RTW in June and know your pearls of wisdom will come in mighy handy.
Have fun, and count me in next time.
Elizabeth
Elizabeth, I’m sorry we missed you last night. I’ll be back up at BootHQ on Saturday and maybe Sunday. Get in touch with Sean about meeting up. I don’t know what he has planned for us but a few people wanted to get together again after last night.
And, welcome to BootsnAll! It’ll a lot of fun. You’ll be hitting the road in no time.
Terrific seeing you, Jen, and meeting two of the writers who contributed to the book.
Have a good one in Eugene.
What is BootBlog?
BootBlog is the company blog of the BootsnAll Travel Network, a company that has been connecting travellers since 1998. Our goal is to inspire, educate and cultivate an organic community of independent travellers. But what does that mean? Well, we love to travel and we love to connect other travellers who have the desire to get out and see this great world of ours. BootBlog will showcase what is going on around the office, around the company and within our community of travellers.Top Categories

It's been awhile since we had a BootsnAll member stop by the office. However, thank to a recent post on the message boards wondering where the Boots Crew were these days, we managed to arrange lunch with Bideshi, aka Mike (blue shirt below).
