Workin’ to Travel
Yesterday afternoon we had a visit from Zach, a local bloke set to hit the road in late October. He’s been using our Trip Planner to put his ticket together and thought he’d stop by to say hi.
Zach got the travel bug when he was 14, traveling to Thailand and Indonesia with his mum. He’s been working to travel ever since. His last trip was teaching English in Taiwan and Zach was cracking us up with some of those stories.
Nick drove a cab in Santa Barbara many moons ago and Zach is currently driving a cab here in Eugene to save cash for his trip, so they were swapping stories like baseball cards.
We cracked a few home brews and hung out for a few hours and then left on his bicycle (a little wobbly, but otherwise ok). I’m sure we’ll see him again at Boots HQ before he leaves.

What is BootBlog?
BootBlog is the company blog of the BootsnAll Travel Network, a company that has been connecting travellers since 1998. Our goal is to inspire, educate and cultivate an organic community of independent travellers. But what does that mean? Well, we love to travel and we love to connect other travellers who have the desire to get out and see this great world of ours. BootBlog will showcase what is going on around the office, around the company and within our community of travellers.Top Categories
